The Center's mission is to nurture high school and university scholars to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and to encourage collaboration between and among leaders in the global community. All CEE programs are offered cost-free to students competitively selected to attend.

The success of the USA Biology Olympiad [USABO] is a mark of cooperation and dedication among students, teachers, the Center for Excellence in Education, and Purdue University to improve [the rigor and level of biology] education in the USA.

Research Science Institute (RSI)

Each summer, 80 of the world's most accomplished high school students gather at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the Research Science Institute (RSI).

USA Biology Olympiad (USABO)

As the premiere biology competition for high school students in the United States, the USA Biology Olympiad enriches the life sciences education of nearly 10,000 talented students annually. Each year, the top 20 students attend the National Finals held at the Home of the USABO-Purdue University.

Teacher enrichment program (TEP)

The Teacher Enrichment Program focuses on best practices and resources as well as exposure to the breadth and depth of scientific discovery often not available to rural and urban high school teachers and their students.
