Who is Dr. Joann DiGennaro?
Dr. DiGennaro is President of the Center for Excellence in Education. She has negotiated cultural and scientific agreements with 53 nations to date. In 1984, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China approved for top achieving Chinese students to attend educational programs of the Center for Excellence in Education.
The Center’s programs are nationally and internationally recognized for assisting academically achieving students. The Research Science Initiative, inaugurated in summer 2015 at Tsinghua University, is the first high school educational program Tsinghua has approved with a U.S. organization.
In June of 2012, Dr. DiGennaro was named as one of 100 U.S. Women Leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by U.S. News and STEMconnector for having made significant contributions to science and technology both nationally and internationally. As President of CEE, Dr. DiGennaro has assisted hundreds of students to gain admission to top U.S. colleges and universities.
