Dr. Ann Shellenbarger

Dr. J. Michael McQuade (CEE Trustee) is Senior Vice President for Science and Technology at United Technologies Corp. His responsibilities include providing strategic oversight and guidance for research, engineering and development activities focused on a broad range of high-technology products and services to the global aerospace and building systems industries.

Dr. McQuade holds Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. degrees in physics from Carnegie Mellon University. 

   
Dr. Ann Shellenbarger

Dr. Ann Shellenbarger Jones (RSI ’90) is Principal for IEc, an environmental and economic consulting firm. She works on developing and implementing methods to assess and value ecological services, for natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) and for evaluating impacts of climate change.

Dr. Shellenbarger Jones holds a B.A. cum laude in chemistry, with a concentration in biochemistry, from Washington University in St. Louis. She received her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

   
Dr. Ann Shellenbarger

Jinger Zhao, (RSI ’99) is Managing Director, Quantitative Research, Two Sigma, an investment firm that uses including AI, machine learning, and distributed computing for its trading strategies. Guided by the scientific method, Two Sigma devises models that begin with inspired ideas or economic hypotheses. In a systematic, process-driven fashion, models are expanded, tested and integrated into its investment strategies. Jinger earned her AB from Harvard University in Computer Science and Neuroscience.
