RSI Participant Profile

RSI is open to students during the summer before their final year in high school.  Students should have completed coursework equivalent to at least the eleventh grade, taking the most challenging courses in math and science offered at their school.  Domestic applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents; international students apply through a CEE partner organization in their home country.

Students selected for RSI will have demonstrated superior achievement in math, the sciences and verbal arts. They will have shown potential to become leaders in science. It is suggested that math PSAT scores be at least 75, and combined math, verbal, and writing PSAT scores be at least 220.
