Who can partner with TEP?

TEP works with companies, academic institutions, foundations, agencies, education organizations and academic community groups to better serve urban and rural STEM teachers and their students.  Through TEP, CEE aims to increase engagement between the STEM community and local schools.

Partners from business may provide:

  • Classroom speakers
  • Mentorships
  • Job shadowing
  • Field trips
  • Other resources

Partners from academia and education may provide:

  • Sites for hosting for Bite of Science sessions or other TEP events
  • A speaker to represent your Organization at a Bite of Science session
  • Placement of TEP in your newsletter for more people to learn about this cost-free teacher professional development opportunity
  • Assistance with outreach to local high schools to invite teachers to TEP events
  • A volunteer to visit local high schools to speak directly to students
  • Other help in creating STEM program opportunities for teachers and students

TEP

currently operates in Alabama, California, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia, but is always looking for new communities to serve!

For more information on partnering with and/or sponsoring CEE's Teacher Enrichment Program, please contact: Teacher Enrichment Program.

TEP is offered cost-free to all participating teachers because of generous gifts by donors and sponsors to the Center for Excellence in Education.  Additional help is provided by the partners and supporters listed below.
