The Unique RSI Community

Extracurricular Activities

RSI offers participants a variety of activities to foster the camaraderie to nurture the students' intellectual and social development:

RSI students will participate in field trips and diverse excursions such as an evening at the Boston Pops, a weekend of camping in the mountains and special expeditions to science and technology facilities in the Boston area.

Guest Lectures are presented by distinguished experts in science, mathematics, business, and the humanities.

Alumni Community

RSI alumni maintain a tight-knit community throughout their academic and professional careers. Alumni from all years of the program stay in contact with one another with social, academic, and professional activities. Former RSI students also form an integral part of the program staff each summer.

CEE follows and supports RSI students as they move through college, graduate school, and on into their professional careers. An alumni association, alumni web site (www.rsiaa.org), on-line discussion groups, and local and national reunions further serve to bind the community. The overall effect has been to create an enduring and now, finally, multi-generational network for students moving into scientific, computing, and quantitative fields.
