Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
Donor Advised Funds are the fastest-growing giving method and a tax-efficient way to make charitable donations. DAFs are essentially charitable investment accounts created to support charitable organizations of your choice. Contributions of cash, securities or other assets to a DAF at a public charity are generally eligible for an immediate tax deduction. DAF funds may also be invested for tax-free growth. Donors may recommend grants to IRS-qualified public charities such as the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE), EIN 52-1256563. Grants to CEE through DAFs may be designated for the Center’s greatest need, or aligned with a particular CEE program or fundraising initiative. Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and BNY Mellon can designate a gift to CEE by using the DAF window on this page. |
