CEE President Joann P. DiGennaro Talks about Women in STEM

CEE Co-Founder and President Joann P. DiGennaro discussed how the Center for Excellence in Education uses its programs to guide women into STEM careers.

Through the annual Research Science Institute and U.S. Biology Olympiad, CEE has helped nurture women to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering, math and business. Additionally, DiGennaro noted CEE’s commitment to the education of women worldwide, including RSI being the first program to bring STEM education studies to girls in Saudi Arabia.

One secret to CEE’s success, DiGennaro noted, is a strong alumni network, which is especially helpful for younger students as they embark on their careers.
