RSI Alumni Among Top 300 Scholars in Regeneron Science Talent Search

McLean, Va. (January 10, 2022) — The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) is pleased to announce that 24 of CEE’s Research Science Institute (RSI) 2021 alumni are among the top 300 scholars in the 2022 Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.

“I’m elated that so many RSI alumni continue to be represented among the top 300 scholars of this prominent academic and research competition. CEE’s RSI program is one of the most prestigious international summer research programs in the world for high school students. It clearly prepares students for success,” said Joann DiGennaro, CEE President.

Regeneron Science Talent Search scholars were selected from 1,804 applications received from 603 high schools across 46 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and eight other countries. Scholars were chosen based on their exceptional research skills, commitment to academics, innovative thinking and promise as scientists as demonstrated through the submission of their original, independent research projects, essays and recommendation.
