CEE ANNOUNCES HONORED MEDALISTS
Nicholas Gouletas Honored for Outstanding Leadership and Commitment
to Excellence in Education

McLean, VA – October 22, 2013 –The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) is proud to announce that Mr. Nicholas S. Gouletas of Chicago, Illinois will be honored for outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence in education at the Center’s upcoming 30th anniversary celebration in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Gouletas joins Dr. William T. Stuart and Ms. Jane Zhang as distinguished honorees.

The anniversary celebration, October 26-27 at the Cambridge Marriott, commemorates CEE’s 30 years of exceptional leadership in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education.  CEE’s programs, the Research Science Institute (RSI), USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), and the Teacher Enrichment Center (TEP), have nurtured young scholars to careers of excellence and leadership in science and technology.

Mr. Gouletas is a renowned entrepreneur and Founder and Chairman of American INVSCO in Illinois.   He has served on CEE’s Board of Trustees since 1994 and, during that time, has been a tireless advocate for Research Science Institute and USA Biology Olympiad alumni.  The Gouletas family arrived from Greece to Chicago as poor immigrants and never looked back.  Mr. Gouletas built a successful real estate practice and has become one of our nation’s most respected real estate investors.

“Mr. Gouletas has been an extraordinary supporter of CEE and STEM education,” said CEE President Joann DiGennaro. “He is an exceptional combination of business savvy and philanthropic generosity.”
