CEE Features Awards for Service to CEE and Nobel Laureate Panel

McLean, Va. (October 9, 2023) – The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) marks its 40th year anniversary October 13-15, 2023, at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA with VIP guests, CEE’s program alumni, and the Center’s Trustees. At the celebration, there will be insightful CEE Talks on exciting STEM topics as well as plenary panel discussions.

At this event medals for excellence will be presented to Admiral Bobby R. Inman, USN (Ret.), Sanjay Palsamudram, and Gayle E. Wilson.

CEE shares details of the extraordinary Nobel Laureate Panel discussion that will take place on Saturday, October 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This eminent panel is made up of the following distinguished Nobel Laureates:

  • Dr. Abhijit Banerjee, Ford Foundation International Professor of Economics, MIT; 2019 Nobel Laureate, Economics.
  • Dr. William G. Kaelin, Jr., Sidney Farber Professor of Medicine Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute; 2019 Nobel Laureate, (Physiology or Medicine)
  • Dr. Wolfgang Ketterle, John D. MacArthur Professor of Physics; Director, MIT-Harvard Center for Ultracold Atoms; 2001 Nobel Laureate, Physics

Each of the three Nobel Laureates will discuss the trends in each of their careers, and the accomplishments which propelled them to a Nobel Prize.
