Welcome to the Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences Department's Education Outreach site. In collaboration with other science outreach programs at Clemson University, we offer a variety of professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers interested in geoscience or environmental education.  We also host a series of downloadable standards-based curriculum supplements and teaching modules, and provide links to other classroom resources of use to both formal and informal educators.

The IRI/LDEO Climate Data Library contains over 300 datasets from a variety of earth science disciplines and climate-related topics. It is a free tool that offers access to datasets and analyses of data ranging from simple averaging to more advanced EOF analyses using the Ingrid Data Analysis Language. The Library's Maproom monitors present climate conditions, and the Library allows users to download climate data in a variety of formats.

CoderDojo is a movement orientated around running free not-for-profit coding clubs and regular sessions for young people. At a CoderDojo, young people learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and more. Dojos are set up, run by and taught at by volunteers. Dojos organize tours of technology companies, bring in guest speakers to talk about their career and what they do, and organize events.
