National, Texas Concept Development Studies in Chemistry

Concept Development Studies in Chemistry is an on-line textbook for an Introductory General Chemistry course.  Each module develops a central concept in Chemistry from experimental observations and inductive reasoning and complements an interactive or active learning teaching approach.

Indiana Conexus Indiana Intern Program

Student Programs

Conexus Interns serves as a bridge, helping students transition from the world of high school to the world of work, and provides the final push in turning students into employees. Internships take place in June and July and generally last 6 weeks. Students learn the ins and outs of AML operations including manufacturing processes, quality tools, inventory management, and much more. In addition, each cohort of interns attends two Conexus Interns Summits to make connections, take part in leadership and problem-solving activities, and prepare for opportunities after high school.

Through the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project, we fund energy education workshops for teachers in the U.S. We help teachers educate students on a wide range of topics including energy conservation and alternative energy sources.  The ConocoPhillips Rice Elementary Science (CPR) Lab in Houston, TX, provides teachers professional development experiences leading to a deeper understanding of science content and training in inquiry-based, student-centered science instruction.

ConocoPhillips Summer Science Institute and the ConocoPhillips’ Rice Elementary Model Science Lab provide PD opportunities for teachers.
