This webinar will explore a variety of topics that illustrate the interdisciplinary nature of STEM and the real-world applications of STEM skills. Educators, guidance counselors, students and community members are welcome to join us on an exploration of how STEM topics and skills interact with our modern lives.

Speaker Information

Huan (Jim) Liu is the Founding Partner, Board Member and President of Mujin Inc. for more than nine years. At Mujin Inc., Huan was also the Chief of Software Development for 6 years. Previous to Mujin Inc., Huan Liu was a Partner and Project Manager at Build-It-Yourself for seventeen years and taught classes online on robotics and programming as well as managing the platform. Huan graduated from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has both a Masters of Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor's of Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. 

Andrew Chatham is a Distinguished Software Engineer at Waymo for over six years. Chatham manages an assorted set of software teams that include cloud, maps, security, UX, and Linux kernel/systems and oversees' the Engineering Operations, which implements their labeling, mapping, and software quality operations. Chatham was also a Principal Engineer for Google Inc. for twenty years. Andrew Chatham graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's of  Science in Computer Science and Economics.

David Zhao is currently the Product Manager at Google Inc. where he helps to enable a clean energy for the future with Nest Renew. Prior to his employment with Google, Zhao was an Associate Product Manager and built emerging creator experiences for YouTube.  David Zhao graduated from Stanford University with a Masters in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Computer Science specifically geared toward AI Concentration. Zhao became an Instructor at Stanford University in 2018 and created a new class called BioE 60: Beyond Bitcoin - Applications of Distributed Trust.
