Donor Advised Funds are the fastest-growing giving method and a tax-efficient way to make charitable donations. DAFs are essentially charitable investment accounts created to support charitable organizations of your choice.

Contributions of cash, securities, or other assets to a DAF at a public charity are generally eligible for an immediate tax deduction. DAF funds may also be invested for tax-free growth. Donors may recommend grants to IRS-qualified public charities such as the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE), EIN 52-1256563.

Grants to CEE through DAFs may be designated for the Center's greatest need or aligned with a particular CEE program or fundraising initiative.

Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and BNY Mellon can designate a gift to CEE by using the DAF window below.

Your reasons for giving are unique. The Center's Development team will work with you to fulfill your philanthropic goals and create a legacy for generations to come. Planned giving options include wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities and remainder trusts, IRA charitable rollover, charitable lead trusts, real estate, memorials, tributes, and endowment gifts.

Many supporters choose to make charitable gifts of securities to the Center for Excellence in Education because it can be a wonderful way to promote STEM education and possibly reduce personal capital gains or estate taxes.
