Public/Private Partnerships

The Center for Excellence in Education works with companies, academic institutions, foundations, agencies, education organizations, and academic community groups to create and strengthen public/private partnerships to better serve urban and rural STEM teachers and their students.  CEE is grateful to have a number of companies, organizations, and foundations as partners and supporters of the Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP).

Since TEP’s inception and launch in 2012, this unique ongoing program for middle and high school science teachers has successfully been launched in CaliforniaFloridaIllinois, IndianaMaryland, PennsylvaniaSouth CarolinaTexas, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  New and continued support by companies, organization, and foundations in these states helps to ensure the success and future growth of the program to inspire students to become innovators, researchers, scientists and leaders in STEM.

How can I partner with TEP?
 - Provide a hosting site for TEP events – Bite of Science Sessions and Teacher Roundtables
 - Provide a speaker to represent your Organization at a Bite of Science session and Teacher Roundtable
 - Place TEP in your newsletter for more people to learn about this cost-free teacher professional development opportunity
 - Assist with outreach to local high schools to invite teachers to TEP events
 - Provide a volunteer to visit local high schools to speak directly to students
 - Work with CEE to create STEM program opportunities for teachers and students
