McLean, Va., October 17, 2022 – The Center for Excellence in Education’s (CEE) Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) presented a “College & Career Panel,” a cost-free webinar that illustrates the interdisciplinary nature of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and the real-world applications of STEM skills. Learn about job and career opportunities in STEM. This virtual program took place on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 5:00-6:15 p.m. ET via Zoom. Watch the recording on YouTube.
Distinguished speakers:
Danielle Linsenbigler is Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, West Virginia University (WVU). She earned a BS in Journalism (Public Relations) with a minor in Political Science from WVU. She also earned a master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from West Virginia University.
Brock Reesberg is Sr. Production Engineer, Greylock Energy. He earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He previously served as a Technical Sales Support Engineer at Xtreme Coil Services, a Technical Engineer for Xtreme Drilling and Coil Services, and a Field Engineer III for Baker Hughes.

The distinguished speakers were introduced by Travis Williams, manager of CEE’s Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP). Travis earned a bachelor’s degree in science teacher education and an MS degree in educational leadership and administration from Western Governors University.

CEE’s Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) provides unique STEM opportunities for high school teachers to take back to their classrooms. Recordings of presentations for teachers are catalogued on YouTube. All TEP resources and professional development events are cost-free to participants. To date, more than 4,000 teachers from over 1,400 schools have participated. The program has reached nearly 600,000 underserved rural and urban students to consider STEM careers.
