McLean, Va. (November 20, 2023) – The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) is participating in GivingTuesday on November 28, 2023, a global day of giving that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

“For 40 years, CEE has been nurturing high school and university scholars to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). On GivingTuesday we renew our pledge to keep our programs free-of-cost to participants,” said CEE President Joann DiGennaro.

GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the US to inspire people to support impactful charities and causes.

GivingTuesday coincides with CEE’s 2023 Annual Fund Campaign to support the Center’s STEM programs. All contributions to CEE made on GivingTuesday will advance the Center’s vital STEM education mission. CEE program alumni, parents, friends of the Center,  and supporters of STEM education are encouraged to participate in GivingTuesday by contributing at www.CEE.org/donate. Charitable contributions to the Center are tax-deductible. The Center is a GuideStar Platinum charity and has the top rating from GreatNonprofits.
