All six are alums of CEE’s Research Science Institute (RSI), the most prestigious international summer research program in the world for high school students. At RSI, which is collaboratively sponsored with MIT, students conduct original, innovative research; the program emphasizes advanced theory and research in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). One hundred of the world’s most accomplished high school students are selected annually to participate in RSI, which is cost-free to all competitively selected students. To date, more than 3,000 high school students representing every U.S. state and 61 nations have experienced RSI. For more information, visit https://www.cee.org/programs/research-science-institute.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Class of 2023 will be recognized for their outstanding achievement this summer. Created in 1964, the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program has honored over 8,000 of the nation’s top-performing students. The White House Commission on Presidential Scholars selects honored scholars annually based on their academic success, artistic and technical excellence, essays, school evaluations and transcripts, as well as a demonstrated commitment to community service and leadership.
